Updates, stories, reviews and more - Aquaria Eco Resort
August is the perfect time to be outside in Bali's sunshine as the rainy season is now behind us and the sun is out but it's not too hot. In August you will be able to enjoy the beautiful sea breeze at Aquaria, dine by the ocean and have your senses touched by the beauty that Aquaria offers to you. We noticed that Air Asia has some amazing deals for Australians and Kiwis, travelling from the Gold Coast to Bali, from July to September, so now is the time to get away from the cold. For Europeans, Qatar airlines was also offering deals, so if you are having a wet summer then contact us, Aquaria Eco Resort Bali still has room for you.
As you may know this month Aquaria celebrates its official 10 years of opening. The Aquaria 10th Anniversary birthday party was brought forward to 31 May as June has become a bit busy, with celebrations, ceremonies and wedding. All those guests who were in house were invited to join in the celebrations.

Om Swastiastu (welcome),
Bali always has an itinerary full of celebrations filled with action and vibrance. With pure dedication to the rotating 210 day calendar named ‘Powukon’ lifestyles are followed everyday from household chores to celebrations and making decisions about life paths through this calendar.
Welcome to the month of March!
.... Enjoy the silence ....
The sun is out now it is nearing the end of the raining season. The transition into the drier season begins from now.
Bali is now celebrating the Saka New Year and the way it is celebrated is like no other in any part of the world. Nyepi occurs after a new moon. It is of Western Indian origin which follows a lunar sequence. It is one of the calendar's assimilated by Indonesia's cultural diversity and one of two also used in Bali.
... Bali's relaxed season ...
It seems to be birthday time in February! It's Jeni's birthday month! and also three of our deeply valued staff members Budi, Widia and Gusti all a year older!
If you happen to see them please wish them a "selamat ulang tahun!" meaning happy birthday in Bahasa Indonesia. During this time both Jeni and Glyn are in New Zealand but please be sure to watch for specials that are coming up this season.
